My kid is funny.

This post is going to be centered more around the Axman because he's just straight up funny. Before I get into some of the recent Axel antics, I'll give a quick Bridget update.  Ms. Smalls turned 6 weeks on Tuesday!  How quickly time flies.  She still gets carted around with me everywhere I go,  and she's such a good sport.  There's only been one instance where she lost her marbles in a public place and it was due to the fact that when this girl is hungry, this girl is hungry.   At her one month appointment, the doctor found it pretty humorous that she had gained two pounds in as many weeks.  She is gaining weight quickly and I'm sure will be nice and round for Halloween - our own little pumpkin. :) Telling secrets to her owl Heading to the pumpkin patch Enjoying fall weather in style Tummy time fail. In her most relaxed state... Okay, so now that you've had your fix of Bridget, lets talk about... the Axman. Axel Edward

Operation Hashtag: Complete!

There are defining moments in our lives that ultimately help build us into the person we are today.   Weddings, births, deaths, a first kiss... and determining a perfect hashtag.  If you are on Facebook, you probably saw the post where I posted our options to choose between.  I got such a kick out of the responses - this is definitely a topic that people are passionate about! Our winner, Heidi, meeting Bridget and starting her lifetime of snuggles Second place was a close one, it was between #BridgetGraceDiaries and #GracedbyBridget.  #GracedbyBridget slithered by with a

Well, now we have new adventures to share and thanks to the generous maternity leave offered by my employer, I have some time to get going on this again.  Guilt plays into this as well, as I would hate to have this great chronicle of Axel's development and nothing on our new addition. New addition?  What? Well, in case you missed it, we welcomed Bridget Grace Bernfeld into the family on September 5, 2017.  She was born at 10:41am and weighed in at 7 lbs, 1.5 oz and 19 inches long.  I'm biased, but I think she's just beautiful. I had a C Section with Bridget, as I did with Axel.  However, this one I knew was coming.  The experience was re
